Do I need an app to use KeySafe?

No! Owners manage their tags through our web-app, which works in any browser. Finders don't need to install anything; they can simply scan the QR code or tap the NFC tag with their phone to start the recovery process.

Is my location tracked?

Absolutely not. KeySafe is not a GPS tracker. The tag is passive and has no power source. Your location is never shared. The system only facilitates anonymous communication after a finder scans a tag you have marked as lost.

How does the finder get paid?

The finder provides their payment details (like PayPal or bank account) through the secure web portal. Once you confirm you've received your keys, our payment partner (Mangopay) instantly sends them their reward. The process is automated and secure.
